March 20, 2025: In a shocking turn of events, the Parents of Muskaan Rastogi, accused of murdering her husband, a merchant navy officer, in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, have expressed outrage and demanded the death penalty for their daughter and her partner, Sahil Shukla.

According to the Police, Muskaan and Sahil allegedly killed Saurabh Shukla, dismembered his body, and sealed the remains in a cement filled drum in Meerut’s Indira Nagar area. Saurabh, who worked in London, had returned to Meerut on March 4, and was reported missing.

Muskaan’s parents, Pramod and Kavita, have publicly condemned their daughter’s actions, calling her “not fit for society” and dangerous to everyone. They urged the authorities to hang her till death, preferably in a public execution.

Saurabh’s family remembers him as kind and gentle soul. Muskaan’s mother described him as a “good man”, and reiterated the demand for the death penalty for her daughter.

The police have arrested Muskaan and Sahil, and are investigating the case further. The community is shocked and outraged by the heinous crime, and many are calling for swift justice.
