Hagrama’s Words Hold No Value": Pramod Boro Slams Former BTC Chief, Asserts UPPL-BJP Alliance is Strong

March 20, 2025: In a sharp political attack, Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) Chief Executive Member (CEM) Pramod Boro dismissed former BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary’s statements, claiming that his words “hold no value” in the region’s politics. Addressing a senior citizen meeting in Tamulpur district, Boro also took a dig at MP Naba Kumar Sarania, calling both leaders a "Try and Test" experiment in Bodoland politics.

Speaking on political alliances, Boro stated that UPPL’s stance on its allies would be discussed after Rongali Bihu. "Now is the time to work. Our party is focused on delivering results," he emphasized.

Amid speculations of internal rifts, Boro reaffirmed that the BJP-UPPL alliance remains intact. "There is no confusion in our partnership. Officially, no discussion has taken place regarding any changes. Our alliance continues as usual," he clarified.

On the resignation of BJP leader Reo Reoa Narzihary, Boro called it a "completely personal matter," distancing his party from any involvement.

However, his sharpest remarks were reserved for Hagrama Mohilary. "Hagrama says one thing in discussions and another in front of the media. His statements have no credibility. BTC residents don’t need complex politics; they need real service," Boro asserted.

In a final jab, the BTR CEM questioned Mohilary’s contributions to the region. "For 17 years, we have all seen what Hagrama Mohilary has done," he remarked, making it clear that his administration is focused on governance rather than political drama.

With elections on the horizon, Boro’s bold statements indicate a fierce political battle ahead in Bodoland.
