Guwahati: A tragic road accident occurred in Guwahati's Noonmati Sector 3, resulting in the death of a scooter rider.

The victim was struck by a speeding passenger city bus, registration number AS01KC7951, which was travelling from Narengi towards Noonmati.

According to reports, the bus collided with the scooter, bearing registration number AR01R0825, which was approaching from the opposite direction. The impact was severe, causing the scooter driver to fall under the front of the bus, resulting in fatal injuries.

The Noonmati police promptly responded to the scene and are currently investigating the incident.

Although the deceased's identity has not been confirmed, police suspect that the victim is a young man from Arunachal Pradesh.
