March 25, 2025: Renowned singer Sonu Nigam’s performance at Delhi Technological University’s (DTU) Engifest 2025 took an unexpected turn for the worse on Sunday. As he took the stage in front of a massive crowd for over one lakh students, a section of the students began pelting stones and bottles at the stage.

The situation quickly spiralled out of control, prompting Sonu Nigam to halt his performance midway. He appealed to the students to refrain from such actions, emphasizing that his team members were getting hurt.

“I’ve come here for you, so we can all have a good time,” he pleaded, “I’m not asking you to not enjoy, but please don’t do this.”

Despite the chaos, videos of the concert went viral on social media, showcasing Sonu Nigam’s energetic performance. In one light hearted performance, he was even seen wearing a pink bunny band that had been tossed at him by a fan.
