March 25, 2025: A man from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, has been booked by the Police for allegedly posting “I love you Pakistan” on social media. Tabrez Alam, a resident of Shikarpur Chaudhary Gautia, was identified after a group called “Akhand Bharat Sankalp Nath Nagari 25” highlighted his post on social media platform X.
The group claimed that Alam’s post threatened India’s unity and integrity, demanding strict action against him. Consequently, an FIR was registered under section 152 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for actions deemed contradictory to national integrity.
Alam has a history of controversy, having previously been accused of abducting a Hindu girl and attempting to convert her. According to the girl’s father, Alam allegedly lured her away from home with jewellery and cash, taking her to Ghaziabad where he tried to convert her. The girl is still missing, and police are searching for her.
This incident comes on the heels of two ordnance factory employees being arrested in Uttar Pradesh for sharing confidential information with Pakistan’s ISI. Vikas Kumar and Ravindra Kumar were allegedly targeted by a fake Facebook profile and leaked information in exchange for money.
