Guwahati: A road accident occurred in Lankeshwar of Guwahati, Assam, on Wednesday, leaving at least three to four persons injured.

The incident involved two vehicles a Maruti Celerio (ASO1F08148) and a passenger van (AS01NC3528).

According to eyewitnesses, the Maruti Celerio was traveling from Dharapur towards Jalukbari when it lost control and collided with a divider street light.

The vehicle then fell onto the highway, causing chaos.

The passenger vehicle, which was trailing behind, hit the accident vehicle and also lost control, falling onto the highway. The Jalukbari traffic police promptly responded to the incident, rushing to the scene to bring the situation under control.

The injured individuals are currently receiving medical attention. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
