March 18, 2022: People across India began to celebrate Holi, the festival of colours.

On this occasion, people play with colours, water, flowers and more, children and adults smear Gulal on each other, and people seek the blessings of their elders.

In Assam, Barpeta Satra is seen to be painted in the colours of Holi. People from different parts of the state have seen visiting Barpeta on the occasion of Daul festival.

Batdrava, the birthplace of Srimanta Sankardeva, people seen playing with colours.

On the other hand, Majuli has also witnessed widespread enthusiasm for the festival of colours.
