November 1, 2024: In a disturbing turn of events, a shooting incident at the British Columbia home of popular singer AP Dhillon has led to the arrest of one suspect while another is believed to have escaped to India.



According to a statement from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), the incident occurred on September 30, 2024, when shots were fired at Dhillon's residence on Ravenwood Road in Colwood. The suspect is accused of recklessly discharging a firearm and setting fire to two vehicles in the vicinity.



The arrested individual, identified as 25-year-old Abjeet Kingra from Winnipeg, was apprehended in Ontario and has been charged with "Discharge of a Firearm with Intent and Arson." He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.



Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a second suspect, 23-year-old Vikram Sharma, who is believed to have fled to India. Sharma was last known to be residing in Winnipeg, and police are actively pursuing leads regarding his whereabouts.



This incident has raised concerns within the community, and the RCMP has urged anyone with information to come forward.
