December 12, 2023: A girl student of Cotton University, Guwahati has tried to end her life by jumping off the second floor of the MCB administrative building on Tuesday.

Reportedly, the girl who is a HS 1st year student enrolled in the Arts stream was immediately rushed to Nemcare Hospital after the incident. She is currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

As per officials, a note has also been recovered from the girl’s room. Further details awaited.
