March 8, 2025: 

There have been some developments in investigation in the staggering rape incidence of Hampi, that shook the nation on Thursday. Two of the culprits, identified as Sai Mallu and Chethan Sai, both residents of Gangavathi city have been captured. One more person, who is on the run, is yet to be apprehended, as informed by Karnataka Police.

While the two girls, including one 27 year old Israeli woman tourist were sexually arrested, three male tourists, including one from the US were attacked. 2 of them managed to escape, while the third one, identified as Bibash from Odisha, went missing. His body has been recovered from the canal near Sanapur Lake on Saturday night.

Details of the murder is yet to be received.
