March 9:2025: The international Indian film academy awards 2025 are being held in jaipur, Rajasthan , from March 8 to 9. This year marks the silver jubilee of the IIFA Awards,

The event features a star-studded line up, including performances by Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Shahid Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The hosts for the IIFA Awards 2025 are Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan.

Diljeet’s film Amar Singh Chamkila won the best film award while its director Imtiaz Ali grabbed the best director award. Vikrant Massey received the best lead actor award for Sector 36 and Kriti Sanon was crowned as best lead actress for Do Patti.

Assam's Anurag Saikia won the best track award for "Ishq hain".

Acknowledging the increasing popularity of OTT platforms, IIFA digital awards have been introduced this year. Panchayat, the favourite series of the mass, won the best series award.
