Guwahati: A bizarre incident was reported from Udalguri in Assam where at least three skeletal remains were stolen from a cemetery.
The incident as per reports took place in Udalguri's Angrajuli where unidentified individuals stole the skeletal remains of three persons from the Angrajuli Baptist Church cemetery, located near the Indo-Bhutan border.
The stolen skeletons belong to Sunar Narzary, Thanija Rabha and Habachi Basumatari.
Many following the incident have suspected that the theft may be linked to superstition beliefs.
