February 25, 2025: In a shocking case of mass murder, a 23-year-old man from Kerala surrendered to the police on Monday, claiming to have killed six people, including his mother, teenage brother, and girlfriend. The police have so far confirmed five deaths, while the accused's mother remains in critical condition.
The accused, identified as Affan, walked into a police station and confessed to the gruesome crime, which he committed at three different locations within a span of a few hours. The victims have been identified as his 13-year-old brother Ahasan, grandmother Salma Beevi, paternal uncle Lateef, aunt Shahiha, and his girlfriend Farshana.
Affan’s mother, who was also attacked, is currently undergoing treatment at the Medical College Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. Authorities revealed that Affan claimed to have consumed poison after the killings, prompting his immediate hospitalization.
