March 9, 2025: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was rushed to AIIMS in the early hours of Sunday morning after experiencing chest pain and discomfort. He was admitted to the Critical Care Unit  around 2 am and is currently under observation by a team of doctors led by Dr. Rajiv Narang, the HOD of Cardiology department of AIIMS.

According to reports, Dhankhar’s condition is stable, and he is receiving close monitoring by the medical team. The 73 year old Vice President’s health is being closely watched, and updates are expected to be provided as more information becomes available.

PM Narendra Modi also visited AIIMS to check on the vice president. Sharing the same on X he said,

Union health minister and BJP Chief JP Nadda also visited the Vice President to enquire about his health.
