March 11, 2025: Last year when India won the T20 World Cup, a grand welcome awaited for them in Mumbai. Lakhs of people gathered in the streets to get a glimpse of their favourites. The men in blue landed together in a charter flight and they had an open bus parade and felicitation ceremony in Wankhede stadium.

However, things are different this time. All the players and staffs are arriving in different flights to different destinations.

While coach Gautam Gambhir landed in Delhi, Captain Rohit Sharma’s destination was Mumbai.

With the IPL session on the cards, players are taking time to rejuvenate and recharge themselves before getting ready to roar again.

Hence, lack of time doesn’t allow for T20 like program in the coming days. Some players have already started practicing for the upcoming IPL which is set to begin on March 22.

The Indian team won Champions Trophy for a record third time defeating New Zealand.
