November 27, 2023: Cricketer Shubman Gill on Monday announced as the new captain of Gujarat Titans for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.

The announcement was made by the franchise on their X handle after all-rounder Hardik Pandya was traded to his former franchise Mumbai Indians.

Shubman Gill who started his Indian Premier League career with the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2018, was brought by Gujarat Titans in 2021 for a sum of Rs 7 crore.
