September 14, 2023: One suspected NSCN (K) cadre shot dead in police firing in the Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday. The gunfight took place between the security forces and suspected militants at the Betcamp area.

Reportedly, the security personnel have recovered one pistol, cash money, and many objectionable documents from the encounter site.

On the other hand, another militant however managed to escape from the scene.
