The summit, scheduled for September 21, will bring together leaders from India, the US, Japan, and Australia to discuss critical issues affecting the Indo-Pacific region.

In a pre-departure tweet, Prime Minister Modi expressed his anticipation for the summit, stating, "I look forward to joining my colleagues President Biden, Prime Minister Albanese, and Prime Minister Kishida. The forum has emerged as a key group of like-minded countries to work for peace, progress, and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region." He emphasized the importance of his meeting with President Biden to explore new pathways for deepening the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership.

The Quad, or Quadrilateral Security Dialogue, is centered around collaboration on pressing global challenges.

Additionally, Prime Minister Modi will address the United Nations General Assembly during his visit, engaging with global leaders on critical international issues.
