February 7, 2025: A violent clash erupted between two rival clans in the sor areas of Dhubri, leading to bloodshed and chaos. The warring factions attacked each other with sharp weapons, resulting in the death of one person, identified as Sujab Ali.

Several others sustained serious injuries in the violent altercation and were immediately rushed to Dhubri Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) for treatment. The situation quickly spiraled out of control, forcing the police to intervene and open fire to disperse the crowd.

Despite the police action, tension continues to grip the area, with authorities maintaining a strict vigil to prevent further escalation. The reason behind the conflict is yet to be ascertained, and an investigation is underway.
