November 10, 2023: An unidentified body has been recovered in Cachar, Assam in the wee hours of Friday morning.
Police officials suspected that the reason behind the death of the man was due to drug overdose as a syringe was found lying near the body.
After investigation, the body was identified as Samarajit Malakar who was a resident of Udharbond Hospital Road.
However, the body has been sent for post-mortem.
