October 6, 2022: The superintendent of Garmur Hospital has been suspended after the death of an artist named Tejaswita Baruah in Assam’s Majuli district on Thursday.

As per reports, Tejaswita went for a program on the occasion of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardeva’s birth anniversary. Later, she suddenly fell ill and was rushed to the hospital for her treatment.

She was declared death by the doctors after her treatment.

Her family alleged the death of Tejaswita is due to negligence of the hospital as she didn’t have any medical issue.
