August 2, 2022: In yet another accident, a Habung Tea Estate worker named Phanidhar Kalita lost his leg after accidentally entering a machine in Dhemaji, Assam.

Earlier, a few days ago, a 25-year-old woman tea worker named Maina Nayak, who works at Lepetkata tea factory, Dibrugarh, hair and skin were ripped off after she accidentally entered the CTC machine at a tea factory in Dibrugarh, Assam on Tuesday.

The woman was immediately taken to Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMC) for treatment where doctors later referred her to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
