Assam Covid cases rise to 1.55 lakh

September 20, 2020: With 2595 fresh COVID-19 cases, the total number of Covid positive cases in Assam has increased to 1,55,453 on Saturday.

Kamrup (M has 553; Jorhat- 205; Lakhimpur- 199 and Golaghat recorded 173 cases.

Meanwhile, 8 more deaths were reported during the day taking the toll to 548. On Saturday, 35,175 tests were done with a positivity rate of 7.38%. Now, the total discharged patients is 1,25,540 and total active patients is 29,362.
