September 25, 2023: Swaminarayan Akshardham, the world's second-largest Hindu temple outside India will be inaugurated at little Robbinsville Township in New Jersey on October 9.



Swaminarayan Akshardham has been built by over 12,500 volunteers from across the US in over 12 years (2011-2023).





As per reports, the temple will be dedicated to Bhagwan Swaminarayan, a spiritual leader from the 19th century, who was inspired by his 5th spiritual successor Pramukh Swami Maharaj.



Cambodia's Angkor Wat Temple, which is now a UNESCO heritage site, is the world’s largest temple.
