October 19, 2024: A school bus carrying children overturned and fell into a gorge near Morni, close to Tikkar Tal, in Haryana's Panchkula district today. The incident, reportedly caused by the driver speeding, occurred near Thal village during a school trip.

Emergency services responded swiftly, rescuing the injured and transporting them to the primary health center in Morni. Several children were later moved to the civil hospital in Sector 6, Panchkula, for further treatment. Initial reports indicate that between 10 to 15 children sustained injuries, though the extent of their conditions remains unclear.

The driver of the bus sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving medical attention. Local police have launched an investigation into the accident, looking into the circumstances that led to the bus losing control.
