Bengaluru: Two individuals belonging to Tripura were reportedly arrested in Bengaluru, Karnataka for allegedly being involved in drug trafficking.



As per reports, the Bengaluru Police arrested two individuals from Tripura for smuggling and selling ganja in the city.



The suspects, who worked at a private firm in southeast Bengaluru, were caught "red-handed" with 11 kg of ganja near Somasundarapalya.



They allegedly bought ganja at a low price in Tripura and sold it at exorbitant prices in Bengaluru.



The estimated worth of the seized ganja is said to be around Rs 6 lakh.



Police said that further investigation is being carried out regarding the matter.
