In a separate operation, security forces recovered a cache of arms and ammunition, including a rifle, a single-barrel gun, and two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), from Dampi Ridge in Churachandpur district.



According to a police officer, "Intelligence-based combing operations are being carried out in the hill and valley districts to recover all the looted/snatched/illegal weapons in the state."



This operation is part of the state's efforts to maintain law and order and prevent militant activities.
