February 19, 2025: As the Maha Kumbh Mela continues to draw millions of pilgrims, a large number of devotees have arrived at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya after taking a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam.
The temple has witnessed an unprecedented surge in visitors seeking the divine darshan of Ram Lalla, the infant form of Lord Ram. Many pilgrims, after completing the sacred bathing ritual in Prayagraj, are making their way to Ayodhya to offer prayers at the newly built Ram Temple.
To ensure safety and smooth movement amid the growing influx, authorities have implemented a detailed security plan. Ayodhya has been divided into six zones and 11 sectors, with a robust police presence at various checkpoints.
"The number of devotees is increasing daily. Since the beginning of the Maha Kumbh, pilgrims who have taken a dip in Prayagraj are arriving here for darshan. Lakhs of devotees have been coming since morning, also taking a dip in the Sarayu river," said Ayodhya SP Madhuvan Kumar Singh on Monday.
Senior police officials, including the Upper Superintendent of Police at the zonal level and the Deputy Superintendent at the sector level, have been deployed to maintain order. The administration has also introduced designated entry and exit routes to streamline the movement of devotees and prevent overcrowding.
With the spiritual fervor at its peak, both Ayodhya and Prayagraj continue to witness an overwhelming response from devotees eager to immerse themselves in faith and tradition.
