Guwahati: A man from Siliguri in the Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal went missing in Guwahati, Assam on Monday.
According to sources, the man had visited Assam with his family to visit the Kamakhya Temple when he went missing from Guwahati.
The man has been identified as Bhanu Roy, 75, a resident of Ghogamali Niranjan Nagar in Siliguri.
The family claimed that they had boarded the BG Express from Jagiroad and when the train reached Guwahati, Roy went missing all of a sudden.
They appealed the Government Railway Police to check CCTV footage on platform 7 as Roy was last seen there.
They also shared details of Roy's appearance.
Roy is about 5'5 in height and primarily speaks only Bengali.
He was wearing a green polo t-shirt with black pants and black shoes. He also had towel with red, blue and green colour mixture with it.
