January 1, 2025: In a shocking incident, five members of a family were found murdered at Hotel Sharanjit in the Naka area of Lucknow early Wednesday morning. The accused, identified as Arshad (24), has been apprehended at the crime scene, according to local police.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Central Lucknow, Raveena Tyagi, confirmed the tragedy and shared details of the investigation. "The accused, Arshad, allegedly murdered five members of his own family, including his mother and four sisters. Preliminary investigations suggest the act was motivated by ongoing domestic disputes," Tyagi stated.

The victims have been identified as Alia (9), Aksa (16), Alshia (19), Rahmeen (18), and their mother, Asma. Arshad, a native of Agra, was reportedly staying with his family at the hotel at the time of the incident.

Forensic teams have been deployed to gather evidence from the crime scene, and a detailed probe is underway. Police officials are investigating the motive behind the heinous act, while the local community grapples with the shocking news.
