December 7, 2023: Anumula Revanth Reddy on Thursday took oath as the Chief Minister of Telangana. Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan administered the oath of office to him at the sprawling Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Hyderabad.
On the other hand, Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu took oath as the Deputy CM of the state.
Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Party leader Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi who arrived in Hyderabad early this morning were also present for the swearing-in ceremony.
Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar also reached Hyderabad to take part in the occasion.
After taking the oath, Revanth Reddy and his family also met Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and General Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on the stage.
