February 24, 2025: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited the Assam Veterinary College ground in Khanapara on Sunday night to review the preparations for the upcoming Advantage Assam event.



During his visit, the Chief Minister assessed the arrangements and discussed the details of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s participation in the programme. PM Modi is set to arrive in Guwahati on Monday to take part in a special world records programme, where he will spend an hour in the evening at the Khanapara ground before retiring for the night at the Koinadhara guesthouse.



The Prime Minister will later attend the Advantage Assam programme on February 25, a key event aimed at boosting investment and economic growth in the state.



CM Sarma was accompanied by senior officials, including Health Minister Keshav Mahanta and Director General of Police Harmeet Singh, among others, during the late-night inspection of the venue. The visit aimed to ensure that all preparations are in place for the high-profile event.
