January 5, 2024: Ahead of Ram Mandir Consecration, 7000 pieces of bamboo has been sent to Ayodhya from Assam. Locals and members of the All Assam Divyanga Versatile Association of the state's Kamrup district have sent the pieces of bamboo.

The inauguration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya will be held on 22 January.

The bamboo pieces had been collected from the Lampi area and stacked at Gohalkona Kacharipara. A container truck filled with the bamboo was dispatched on Thursday night.

Arjun Chetry, a Member of Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council, said that this is a proud moment for them as they were able to send bamboo that will be used in the inauguration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
