Guwahati: A massive 12-foot-long python was safely extracted from a bamboo tree in Magurmari, Samguri of Nagaon, Assam.
The giant reptile had taken shelter in the middle of the bamboo tree plantation.
The plantation was at the premise of a man named Nurul Amin's residence.
The rescue effort was witnessed by hundreds of people who had gathered at the scene, eager to catch a glimpse of the enormous snake. After a careful and delicate operation, the python was finally rescued and handed over to the forest department.
As per officials, there was no harm to any person or the snake during the operation.
