September 2, 2022: Assam Agriculture Minister Atul Bora will be the Guardian Minister for Kamrup Metro and North Lakhimpur. Food and Civil Supplies Minister Ranjeet Kumar Das has been made the Guardian Minister of Bongaigaon, Tinsukia and Dibrugarh. Parliamentary Affairs, Water Resources and Information Minister Pijush Hazarika will be the Guardian Minister of Sonitpur, Biswanath and Karimganj, Health Minister Keshab Mahanta has been made the Guardian Minister of Morigaon, Golaghat, South Salmara Mancachar.

Transport and Excise Minister Parimal Shuklabaidya is now the Guardian Minister of Nagaon and Hojai, Finance Minister Ajanta Neog would be the Guardian Minister of Jorhat and Nalbari. Education Minister Ranuj Pegu is the Guardian Minister of Sivasagar, Majuli and Barpeta.

Housing and Urban Affair and Irrigation Minister Ashok Singhal is the Guardian Minister for Kokrajhar and Goalpara. Minister for Skill Development and Employment Jayanta Malla Baruah is the Guardian Minister for Cachar, Dhubri and Hailakandi, Environment and Forest and Minorities Welfare Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary is now the Guardian Minister for Kamrup and Darrang. Minister for Revenue and Disaster Management Jogen Mohan is the Guardian Minister for Karbi Anglong, West Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao. Minister for Culture, Commerce & Industries & Public Enterprises Bimal Bora is the Guardian Minister for Charaideo and Udalguri. Power Minister Nandita Garlosa  is the Guardian Minister for Baksa and Bajali. Textiles Minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma is the Guardian Minister for Chirang and Tamulpur and Minister for Labour and Tea Tribes Welfare, Sanjay KIshan is the Guardian Minister for Dhemaji.
