Washington: A devastating plane crash occurred in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, on Saturday afternoon, resulting in the loss of all lives onboard. The small executive transport plane, capable of carrying six people, struck a residential home around 12:20 p.m. local time, sparking a massive fire.

According to Brooklyn Park Fire Chief Shawn Conway, there are no survivors from the plane, but fortunately, no fatalities were reported from inside the house. The incident commander described the scene as a "fully involved structure fire," with the aircraft found only after the fire was contained.

The plane was headed to Anoka County-Blaine Airport in Minneapolis from Des Moines International Airport in Iowa when it crashed. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that the plane was a SOCATA TBM 700, a high-performance, single-engine turboprop aircraft.

A Ring camera captured the moment the plane fell from the sky, with eyewitnesses describing the scene as chaotic. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz expressed his concern over the crash, thanking first responders for their swift action.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating the incident, with the NTSB leading the probe. The agencies are working to determine the cause of the crash, which is expected to take several weeks or even months.

The community has come together to support the families affected by the tragedy, with Brooklyn Park Mayor Hollies Winston thanking Gov. Walz for providing resources to the city.
