July 24, 2024 — A Saurya Airlines aircraft, with 19 people on board, crashed during takeoff at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu earlier today. The incident occurred around 11 am local time as the plane was preparing for its journey to Pokhara.

According to initial reports, the aircraft was carrying both passengers and aircrew when it met with the accident. A fire broke out on the plane following the crash, but it has since been extinguished by emergency responders.
