March 9:2025: A textile factory collapse in Ludhiana, Punjab, has trapped at least 6 workers under the debris. The incident occurred on Saturday evening, and rescue teams, including the National Disaster Response Force, are working to save the trapped.

 Rescued workers have been rushed to the hospital. However, one worker has lost his life unfortunately.  

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has ordered immediate rescue operations and has prayed for the swift recovery of those trapped.  The administration has also announced an investigation into the incidence to determine the cause of the collapse.

Rescue efforts are currently underway, with teams working to remove the debris and free those trapped. The exact number of casualties is not yet known, but officials are working to provide assistance to the affected families.
