September 17, 2024: Atishi is poised to become the next Chief Minister of Delhi, following a decisive endorsement from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chief Arvind Kejriwal. This move was confirmed during a key meeting of the party’s legislative wing at Kejriwal’s residence earlier today.

The meeting, held at 11:30 am, was called to finalize Kejriwal’s successor. Sources reveal that Kejriwal proposed Atishi’s name, and the party’s lawmakers quickly rallied around her, expressing their support. Kejriwal is expected to submit his resignation around 4:30 pm today, clearing the way for Atishi to officially step into the role of Chief Minister.
