March 19, 2025: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has commenced the online application process for 195 Agricultural Development Officer vacancies under the state’s Agriculture department. Eligible candidates can submit their applications until April 17, 2025, through the official websites apsc.nic.in or apscrecruitment.in. The fee payment deadline is April 19, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered for the position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

: Be Indian citizens as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the constitution of India.

: Be permanent resident of Assam, providing a valid permanent resident certificate issued in Assam for educational purposes or employment exchange registration certificate as proof of residency.

: Hold a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or an equivalent degree recognized by the Assam government.

: Be at least 21 years old and not more than 38 years old as of January 1, 2025 (Upper age limit relaxation available for reserved category candidates as per rules).
