Assam minister Atul Bora meets Mizoram CM Lalduhoma in Aizwal, commits to resolve border issues

August 10, 2024: A day after the Assam and Mizoram governments agreed to maintain peace and harmony along their borders, Assam Border Protection and Development Minister Atul Bora met with Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma in Aizwal on Saturday and expressed his gratitude.



During the meeting, Minister Atul Bora thanked chief minister Lalduhoma for his commitment to resolving the long standing border issues between Assam and Mizoram.



The meeting was also attended by Lalmuanpuia Punte, Adviser to the Mizoram CM, along with senior officials from both states.



Earlier on Friday, a delegation from Assam, led by Atul Bora, met with Mizoram’s Home Minister K. Sapdanga and Minister of Land, Revenue, and Settlement B.  Lalchhanzova in Aizwal to amicably resolve the Assam-Mizoram inter-state border issues.
