September 6, 2024: Ahead of Haryana assembly election, wrestler Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia will be joining the Indian National Congress today. The report comes mere days after the two wrestlers met with the party’s leader Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi on September 4.

According to the reports, Vinesh Phogat is likely to contest from Julana seat and Bajrang Punia is likely to contest from the Badli seat as Congress candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections.
