August 22, 2024: Tamil superstar Vijay on Thursday unveiled the flag and symbol for his political party Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam.

The flag is red and maroon on the top and bottom, and yellow in the middle with two elephants and a Vaagai flower, which symbolises victory. The TVK also launched its flag anthem on the party’s social medial handles.

Speaking at the flag launching ceremony, Vijay said the significance of the TVK flag would be revealed during a state-level conference, which he stated would take place soon.

On February 2, Vijay announced the launch of TVK, stating his commitment to “fundamental political change” with transparent, caste-free, and corruption-free administration.
