Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 Sets Record with Over 2.79 Crore Registrations

January 9, 2025: The eagerly awaited Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2025, an annual initiative by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has garnered an unprecedented response with over 2.79 crore registrations from students, teachers, and parents across India and abroad. This marks a significant increase of more than 53 lakh participants compared to last year’s 2.26 crore registrations, reflecting the growing popularity and impact of the program.

The Ministry of Education celebrated this achievement, calling PPC a “true Jan Andolan” that fosters a positive and stress-free approach towards examinations while addressing students' mental well-being.

Registrations for PPC 2025, which began on December 14, 2024, through the MyGov.in portal, will remain open until January 14, 2025. The interactive event will take place in a townhall format at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, though the exact date is yet to be announced. Last year’s event was held on January 29 at the same venue.

During PPC, PM Modi will engage with students from classes 6 to 12, as well as teachers and parents, addressing concerns related to examination stress, career choices, future aspirations, and life lessons.

In addition to the main event, a series of activities, including indigenous game sessions, meme competitions, and street plays (nukkad nataks), will be held from January 12, commemorating National Youth Day, to January 23, marking Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti.

Pariksha Pe Charcha was first launched in February 2018 and has since evolved into a cornerstone program aimed at transforming examination-related discussions into a nationwide movement. With the record-breaking registrations this year, PPC continues to inspire millions to approach examinations with confidence and positivity.
