September 28, 2024: A massive fire erupted early Saturday morning at the Tata Electronics manufacturing unit in Hosur, causing significant alarm among employees and local residents. The blaze reportedly began in the cellphone manufacturing section around 5:30 AM, specifically within the mobile phone accessories painting unit located in Uddanapalli, near Nagamangalam.

Emergency services responded quickly, dispatching several fire engines to the scene. Workers were promptly evacuated, and as of now, no injuries have been reported. At the time of the incident, approximately 1,500 employees were present for the first shift.
