March 19, 2024: Tension erupted after a shopkeeper of a mobile phone store was allegedly beaten by some youths for playing Hanuman Chalisa during Azaan in Bengaluru. The video of the whole incident has gone viral on social media.

As per sources, a fight broke out between the shopkeeper Mukesh and some people of the colony over loud music being played, on Sunday evening at Siddannagalli. The group dragged the victim out of the shop and beat him up.



Immediately after the incident, the victim lodges a complaint against the matter in a police station. Based on the FIR, three suspects identified as Suleman Pasha, Shenavaz M, and Rohit Kumar, all residents of Cubbonpet, were apprehended by the police. They now face charges of attempted murder. Two other individuals involved, Danish and Tarun, remain at large as per the FIR.



Therefore, investigations are underway and further more details awaited.
