April 27, 2024: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was injured while boarding a helicopter in Durgapur on Saturday. The incident happened during campaigning for Lok Sabha Elections.

Reportedly, the chief minister got injured on her leg after she slipped and fell inside the helicopter. She was helped by her security personnel. Later, she continued her travel to Asansol.

Earlier, the West Bengal Chief Minister was injured on her forehead after a fall at her Kalighat residence in Kolkata.
