April 23, 2024: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was given insulin at Tihar jail on Monday night when his blood sugar level spiked to 320. The arrested CM criticised the Tihar jail administration for allegedly failing to provide him with insulin despite his repeated requests.

Taking to X, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said, “Finally BJP and its jail administration came to their senses and gave INSULIN to CM Kejriwal in jail. CM Kejriwal's sugar level had reached 320. This has been possible only due to the blessings of Lord Hanuman and the struggle of the people of Delhi. We have succeeded in delivering insulin to our Chief Minister."

Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21 in connection to a money-laundering case associated with the Delhi government's discontinued excise policy case. Since April 1, he has been held in Tihar Jail.
