September 14: At least 18 children went missing after a boat overturned in Bagmati River in Bihar on Thursday. Around 34 people were on board.

According to some reports, the incident took place near Madhupur Patti Ghat in Muzaffarpur district.

However, the teams of NDRF and SDRF rushed to the incident site and rescue operation is underway.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar informed that aid and support will be given to the victim’s families. The state will provide all the assistance to the families.
