March 30, 2024: Tamil Actor Daniel Bajali passed away on Friday night at a private hospital in Chennai after suffering from cardiac arrest at the age of 48.

Daniel was immediately rushed to the hospital after complaining of chest pain on Friday. Later, after his death, his body has been taken to his residence in Purasaiwalkam for final rites.

Daniel Balaji was known for playing villain roles in films. He began his film career as a unit production manager on the sets of Kamal Haasan's unreleased Marudhanayagam. His first role was in the television serial Chithi, where he played a character named Daniel.

Daniel’s performance as Amudhan in director Gautham Menon and Kamal Haasan's 'Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu' still remains to be one of the iconic antagonist roles in Tamil Industry.
